Bio / Mods: I have been doing up a 74 Galant.
It has recently been resprayed in Mazda 323 SP20 yellow and runs a 2 litre Astron motor complete with T-03/T-04 turbo utilising a Sierra turbine with V trim compressor; boost is now 15psi all the time, not sure on what boost for racing yet as I haven't decided. Magna head and injection, Mazda 13B turbo injectors, 2 x 13B turbo intercooler cores welded together as 1 unit, adjustable boost controller and Haltech E6K engine management system.
Seneding the power south is taken care of by a Sigma jap 5 speed gearbox and limited slip diff from nissan Navara / 720 Ute.
Stopping is controlled by Volvo 4 spot brake calipers on BMW 318i 10" disks.
Internally its has been retrimmed in black and sports GSR Galant seats while in car entertainment is provided by a Pioneer head unit and 6 disk stacker combination running a complete JL Audio speaker / amplifier setup. JL Audio 300.4 and 500.1 amplifiers run JL Audio 6" VR splits at the front and JL Audio 6x9 TR's at the back. Subsonic frequencies are taken care of by two JL Audio 12W0 subwoofers.
Currently there are no quarter mile times yet but on 7psi boost it will top 210kph with about 1000rpm left to go so its a quick little thing.
